The 0586-001 2MP Dome Camera from AXIS Communications uses a 1/2.8' progressive-scan CMOS sensor for 1920 x 1080 resolution at 30 fps. and it features a 3-9mm varifocal lens for a 100° to 35° horizontal field of view. An integrated mechanical IR cut filter will automatically switch between color and B&W video. enabling clear images in various lighting conditions. Additionally. wide dynamic range offers high-quality images in ambient lighting. and color. brightness. sharpness. contrast. backlight compensation. and white balance settings allow you to configure your camera based on various environments. A mic/line input and line output provide 2-way audio capability. and a terminal block offers an alarm input and output for adding an external alarm to your surveillance system. Furthermore. ONVIF-compliance allows compatibility with additional surveillance items so that you can connect the camera to an NVR. The camera also comes with built-in analytics. such as motion detection. active tampering alarms. audio detection. autotracking. and line crossing. When any of these events occur. the camera will send you an email notification or store video recordings of the event to your edge storage. The camera compresses footage using H.264 and MJPEG formatting. maximizing your bandwidth and storage.
