Overview
The Sony SNC-CS50N is a color network camera with both standard and network video capabilities. The camera records 540 lines of resolution and has a low light capability of 0.4 lux. In order to maintain the best possible video quality day or night. the camera switches from its normal color mode under sufficient lighting to an IR enhanced B&W mode when it gets dark. The camera uses a standard Ethernet cable to connect to the network. and does not require a local PC at each camera location. Once connected. the video images as well as all the camera controls can be accessed from any PC simply by logging on to the internet and entering the camera's unique IP address. Up to 20 clients can access the camera simultaneously. A user name and password system determines the level of access for an individual or a group of clients. The SNC-CS50N comes standard with a vari-focal lens with a built-in auto iris feature. and will accept as an option any C/CS lens for specific application requirements.
